As a native Washingtonian and graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts, I always valued being surrounded by artistic inspiration and having access to entertainment professionals. This is exactly what Allen Jackson and the annual Burke Film Festival are positioned to provide- a place where aspiring film artists can be challenged, equipped, and inspired to reach their potential as their budding young minds ready themselves to take the industry by storm! It has been a treat presenting workshops these last two years, and I look forward to watching the festival grow and expand for many years to come."
